Thank you for your interest in The Junior League of Bryan-College Station, Inc. (JLBCS)! We’re excited that you’re considering joining our organization.

The Junior League of Bryan-College Station, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Below is a simple overview of what to expect in your first year as a New Member, including time and financial commitments.

Eligibility

To be considered for the 2026–2027 New Member Class, you must be:

• At least 23 years old by June 1, 2026 (the start of the League year)

First-Year Time Commitment:

New Members participate regularly throughout their first year in:

• Fundraising events
• Community service projects
• League meetings and engagement activities
• New Member education sessions

The first year includes a higher level of involvement to help members build relationships and learn how the League operates.

First-Year Financial Commitment:

New Members have four financial commitments during their first year:

• New Member Dues – $165 
  • Due within 30 days of your state date. 
  • Includes:
    • $45 one-time registration fee
    • $120 annual dues for the 2026-2027 League year.
• Annual Dues – $120 
  • Due by April 1, 2027, for the 2027-2028 League year.
• Fundraising Commitment – $150 
  • Due by December 31, 2025
  • This may be fulfilled through raffle ticket sales, donation of an auction item with a certain market value that is subject to the approval of the Fund Development VP.
• Bargain Blitz Contribution (Due March 2027)

Choose one option:

• Donate goods valued at $75 or more (Only $25 in clothing may count toward the $5 total)

OR

• Make a $150 monetary donation by March 31, 2027.

Transfer Memberships

Have you recently moved, or plan to move, to the Bryan-College Station area and would like to transfer your Junior League membership? We welcome you! We accept Active and Sustainer transfers throughout the year. In order to transfer your membership, you must contact your current league and ask them to transfer your membership to the Junior League of Bryan-College Station via the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) e-Transfer system. Once your transfer is either initiated or approved by the transferring League, JLBCS will contact you via email. Once your transfer fee and any required dues are paid, your transfer is considered finalized by JLBCS.
