Message from the President
It is with deep gratitude and profound humility that I step into the role of President of the Junior League of Bryan-College Station for the 2026–2027 league year. To be entrusted with leading this organization is an honor I do not take lightly, and I am excited for everything we will accomplish together.
Since its founding as a Service League in 1982 — and its formal membership in the Association of Junior Leagues International in 1988 — the Junior League of Bryan-College Station has been a steadfast force in this community. For over four decades, we have been committed to developing women into leaders, driving meaningful change, and strengthening the well-being and future of the children and youth of Bryan-College Station.
Our members represent the rich diversity of this community — different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives — all united by a shared passion for service, a dedication to growth, and a belief that women leading together can transform the world around them. It is that spirit that carries us into this new league year and into our theme: Into the Future.
Looking ahead, we will continue to champion our signature project, Stuff the Bus — our annual school supply drive that ensures local children begin the school year equipped and ready to learn. We will welcome back our beloved spring fundraiser, Bargain Blitz, and launch an exciting new fall tradition with Bird Bams in the Brazos, a mahjong fundraiser that brings our community together in a spirit of fun, connection, and purpose. Each of these initiatives is more than a project or an event — they are opportunities for our members to lead, to grow, and to make their mark on this community in ways that will echo long into the future.
The future belongs to those who are bold enough to build it — and that is exactly what this league does every single day. As we move Into the Future, I am energized by the talent, heart, and dedication of every member of this league, and I am excited for the community of Bryan-College Station to see what we are capable of together.
Thank you for your trust, your commitment, and your belief in what we are building. I cannot wait to step into this future with each and every one of you.
Anaissa (Annie) Richardson
President, 2026-2027
