This year we will be awarding two special grants: one elementary school in Bryan ISD (BISD) and one elementary school in College Station ISD (CSISD) have the opportunity to earn $1000 (one thousand dollars) for their school! Each person who makes either a monetary donation or donates school supplies during the drive will be encouraged to add the elementary school of their choice into a drawing (one entry per person). Entries can be made at the Brazos Center location only. At the end of the drive, the winners of the grants will be drawn.. The more entries your elementary school has on the day of the drive, the greater the chance your school has to win!

About Stuff the Bus
As the Signature Project of The Junior League of Bryan-College Station, Inc., Stuff the Bus works to provide school supplies to over 16,000 students in Bryan-College Station every fall. In 2014, the Stuff the Bus Committee, along with many Active, Provisional, and Sustaining members, donated more than 1000 volunteer hours in June through September. More than 300,000 school supplies were purchased, equating to 35 pallets (more than a semi-truck full) that were distributed to 32 different local schools. With the help of our generous sponsor, HEB, we were able to collect over $15,000 in tear-pad donations and $11,000 worth of pre-packaged school supplies for local in-need students.
Together with community partners, our League has successfully distributed supplies to over 150,000 students since the project began in 2000. From start to finish, this project is executed by Junior League members. Over the summer, Stuff the Bus boxes are placed around town to encourage community participation. In 2014, we had over 100 boxes placed around the community! Supplies are sourced, ordered, sorted, bagged and distributed by League members.
This program tremendously and positively impacts the youth in our area. The Junior League is very proud to lead this effort and to be able to work with the community in such a meaningful manner.
If you have a child in Bryan ISD (BISD) or College Station ISD (CSISD) that is in need of school supplies, we encourage you to communicate that need to your child's school. The Junior League of Bryan-College Station, Inc. provides all of the school supplies directly to BISD and CSISD for distribution to their students.
