Education Docent Program
http://bushlibrary.tamu.edu/
The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum's Education Department exists to serve Bryan-College Station's children and youth by fostering a greater understanding of our nations history, encouraging good citizenship, and promoting literacy skills. It was selected as a community project by the Junior League of Bryan-College Station for the 3rd year in 2007-2008.
Junior League volunteers serve as Education Docents for school children visiting the Museum by conducting tours of museum exhibits, acting as moderators in the museum classrooms and assisting with public programs and special outreach projects of the education department. They will provide information to grade school students throughout the year as well as help with special events at the library for the children and youth of our community.
